Charity Shopping

To prove to you that I don't spend all my time on the internet doing absolutely nothing I figured I'd spend part of my day today writing a little blog post about how I spent last saturday. I have Red Hot Chili Peppers playing, still in pyjamas and the internet has yet to decided to crash: lets begin.
So my mum was feeling generous last weekend and decided to take me shopping around these local charity shops (shhh I like thrifting) the problem was she hadn't told me this until I walked into her car after waking up at my friends house and skipping outside in only pyjamas. This led to me hastily putting my jeans over the top of my pyjamas and converse in the back of the car. I'm smart like that. The fun of only just waking up didn't stop there though, oh no I also had forgotten to brush my teeth and had no tooth paste on me so we were forced to stop at a friend of my mum's house and use their tooth paste.
Over an hour after first setting out we ended up in charity-shop-central. I was primarily looking for any nice clothes I could find - a friend of mine had recently found an Arctic Monkeys tour shirt in a charity shop so I was hopeful - but this didn't really go to plan.
We walked away from the charity shops about four hours later (not all shopping you have to stop for a cup of tea at some point) with no clothes. I did have seven books, 2 CDs and 2 DVDs though...all for under twenty pounds so quit complaining!
It took a lot to force my mum into buying me the DVDs though because apparently Reservior Dogs and Paranormal Activity aren't exactly family friendly. My mum was more sceptical about buying Paranormal Activity than Reservior Dogs (even though she thought it was Trainspotting). Mostly because my excuse for buying Reservior Dogs was jumping up and down saying "But John Travolta, but John Travolta, but John Travolta". After getting home I realised that he was in Quentin Tarantino's other film Pulp Fiction. I'm smart like that.
That last paragraph makes very little sense, sorry.
Anyho, upon getting home we met my godmother at the door. Both her and my mother then roped me into looking for prom dresses (urgh prom) at a near by vintage shop. I'd been in there a lot but it turns out that there's a hidden room at the back filled to the brim with a dress from every different era. It's insane.
Alas none of the dresses were close to what I wanted or suited converse (unless they were picking out terrible dresses for me to try on which looking back is rather likely). The only thing I tried on that I would actually consider going to prom in was the Led Zeppelin shirt I came in with. So after an hour or so of looking like a fool we finally leave the shop...with a checkered shirt...
I am a lumberjack now.

Thanks for reading.

50 books

If you expected a post up sooner than this you have more faith in me than I ever will. A post a month is quite lucky I'd say for someone who is terribly bad at doing anything other than being lazy whilst also revising for *sighs* GCSEs. Could someone please explain why they are still a thing because I don't understand, the whole system is pretty messed up really.
But I may just think that because I've spent too much time lately thinking about 42.
I'm sorry I won't put anymore crappy refrences into this (that's a complete lie).

Okay that's an intro of sorts now I best write about that thing in the title...
You may have heard of the fifty books challenge beforehand but if not I'll explain: You try and read fifty books in a year. Does that make sense or do I need to simplify it for you?
I succeeded last year and began straight after finishing (I completed it some time in October so am now three months in and 11 books down). It's safe to say that completing this is probably one of my greatest achievements espicially for someone so bad and keeping oin top of things (I have no clue how I'll survive as an 'adult'). So I'll apologise now because the rest of this blog shall just be a list of all the books I read.
Who knows you might even get a review of some of them in a while or the books I've read so far the second time around.

1. Abundance of Katherines
2. Return of the King
3. Will Grayson Will Grayson
4. The Fault in our Stars
5. Divergent

Welp that's all for today; feel free to ask me about any of the books or wish for a review on any of them or just complain about my horrid spelling because I hate it too.
For now though I'm off so goodnight and goodbye.

Clearly I have too much time on my hands

I'd like to explain a thing, and confess a different thing today if you don't mind, you do mind? Tough.
This blog started purely because my friends have begun blogs and I thought I should join in the fun because what's more fun than doing as everyone does and pretending you're a fluffy little sheep. Anyho as someone to start a blog it's obvious that I spend most of my life on the internet (and here comes the confession) which means seeing as I'm a sixteen year old girl most of my life on the internet is spent on tumblr. Now suddenly look at me funny now I'm not that weird.
Yes, this does mean I would relate myself to some fandoms and yes I may also spend most of my days in pyjamas scooping peanut butter out of the jar and eating it's flesh with my bare hands but everyone has their weird habits and odd secrets. It just so happens that I share one of mine with the internet and it's left me with a fair few dark circles under my eyes come sunrise. Or whatever you call six in the morning and this time of year.
Trust me and any other night-time blogger when I say this: school is just something used to stop the internet addiction going overboard. Don't go tellinng me it's already gone overboard, I can dream.
Actually speaking of school it breaks up for me in a few days (Friday to be exact) which means that I'll have two weeks to see friends who I don't go to school with (which is most of my friends); not revise for my upcoming Chemistry test and instead continue reading To Kill a Mockingbird for the nth time to hopefully get me out of my reading funk but most importantly spend time on the internet which means spending time with you!! Yay don't that sound like such fun to you!
I suppose I best be off now.

You're stuck with me now, Jemma.

This is a thing then

Hello there,
I'm afraid I'm Jemma and this is my blog.
First I'd like to apologuise for you stumbling upon it; must've taken a while to do so. That doesn't matter now what matters is you're here. I don't mean here on this blog I mean here in this universe - you never know how strange the other universes could be, they might not have cheese for all we know. We'll forget about this for the moment though. You see I'm using this as an introduction of sorts for this here blog. I honestly just wanted to explain not to expect a lot from this. It's merely the ramblings of a sixteen year old girl (but isn't have the internet in a similar situation nowadays?).
I hope to use this blog almost as a journal. You'll find parts of my life, my interests and my insanity.
Anyway I'm Jemma.and this is my blog.

Hope you have a wonderful life.
